Directions

For the perfect cup of tea, place 1 teaspoon (2g) in a strainer or reusable tea bag.

Steep for 3–5 minutes at 100°C. Maximise the health properties of Ilan Style tea by covering your cup while steeping.

Cacao licorice tea

Absolutely delicious, although beware that the strips of coconut make the tea very heavy and so the tin is only half full.

As you noted this particular tea has a lot of larger pieces of coconut in it, and this means that the tin can look less full than with some of our other teas. The beauty of using natural ingredients is that they come in all shapes and sizes, so no two teas will look the same! Healthy cacao morning starter

This tea is wonderful to drink first thing in the morning. It gives the wonderful cacao flavour with a hint of liquorice and coconut. On first try I was a bit disappointed because the cacao flavour wasn't coming through, but subsequently I realised I should shake the bag to mix the ingredients to get all the delicious flavours (duh).
