Ilan Gratitude - Tropical Breakfast

Rather than starting the day with a stressful mind and running on adrenaline, we prefer the idea of kicking off with a gentle smile, knowing we have infused our bodies with superfood nutrition and our soul with positive intention. This was the starting point for our breakfast tea blend. Then we got excited about our favourite ingredients from tropical paradise and popped them into a very unique and healthy blend for you to welcome every day. We called this one Ilan Gratitude - Tropical Breakfast.

Camellia sinensis – Black tea. Cultivated in Queensland

The black tea ingredient in Ilan Gratitude comes from the Daintree region in Queensland. Daintree black tea is a unique and delicious variety of tea, known for its deep, smoky flavour and beautiful, dark colour. Black tea is also a rich source of antioxidants, plus it contains caffeine. We included black tea in our tropical breakfast variety, because many of us enjoy a gentle caffeine prod to help our mind and body prepare for the day!

Citrus sinensis – Orange segments. Cultivated in Victoria

The orange segments used in Ilan Gratitude tea are grown in the beautiful citrus orchards of Victoria, Australia. Oranges bring a lovely sweet aroma and zest to this tea.

Mangifera indica – Mango fruit. Cultivated in Qld, NT and NSW

Mango (Mangifera indica) is a tropical fruit tree native to India and South-east Asia, but it is now grown in many parts of the world, including Queensland, Northern Territory and New South Wales. Mangoes are a great addition to Ilan Gratitude tea because they bring a delightful tropical flavour to complement the papaya and apricot, and they are packed with nutrients. Mangoes are high in vitamins A and C, which are essential for good health, as well as folate, magnesium, and dietary fibre for a great start to the day.

Citrus australasica – Fingerlime. Wild harvested in NSW

Fingerlime is an interesting and unique citrus fruit native to coastal rainforests in Eastern Australia. It has a thin, green skin and contains small, juicy pearls inside – sometimes referred to as 'vegan caviar'! The pulp has a tart and tangy flavour, making it a great addition to gourmet salads and drinks, including Ilan Gratitude tea. Fingerlime contains antioxidant vitamins A and E, with exceptional quantities of vitamin C, as well as calcium, magnesium and fibre. The fingerlime used in Ilan Style tea is wild harvested in NSW.
