Star Charm Tea Infuser

Introducing our brand loose leaf tea infuser with a hand-woven charm - helping you brew the perfect cuppa in style! The spherical mesh design allows for easy use with no waste, and optimal water flow for the perfect tea infusion. 

The beautiful star charms are woven by First Nations artist Yulaa-li. The five-pointed star shape holds great significance in the Torres Strait Islands, even appearing on the Torres Strait Islander flag. It is a symbol of peace, and represents the five major island groups of the Torres Strait, as well as the navigational importance of stars to the seafaring people of the Torres Strait.

About Yulaa-li:

'Yulaa-li' is a Gamilaraay word that can be translated to "tie" or "to tie up." Founder and artist Kiara Davies is a Kamilaroi woman who works and resides on Wurundjeri country. Kiara was taught to weave on a retreat for Aboriginal women in health and she is forever grateful to the women who shared their knowledge of weaving with her, as well as those who learnt alongside her.
